During last summer’s Jews on Vinyl Revue at the Skirball, the audience went crazy for the world-renowned master jazz cellist, pianist, composer, and mystic Fred Katz in his first public performance in more than twenty years. Join this living legend as he returns to the Skirball for an intimate “living room” concert, looks back over his nearly century-long career, and prepares to mark his ninety-second birthday. Coffee and cake will be served!

For this unique musical encounter, Katz will be joined by his son, flutist Hyman Katz, bassist Richard Simon, plus special guests the Flying Pisanos, John and Jeanne Pisano. Cultural critic and music enthusiast Josh Kun moderates the program. Presented in association with the Idelsohn Society for Musical Preservation.

Advance tickets recommended: Available on site at the Skirball, online at www.skirball.org, or by phone at (877) SCC-4TIX or (877) 722-4849
