Fred Ho is a one-of-a-kind revolutionary Chinese American baritone saxophonist, composer, writer, producer and political activist. This prodigious composer has created over a half dozen operas, music/theater epics, cutting edge multimedia performance works, martial arts ballets and oratorios. Since founding the Afro Asian Music Ensemble two decades ago in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, he has merged the most soulful forms of African American music with the musical influences of Asia and the Pacific Rim.
