Franklin Templeton Investments Memorial 5K Run/Walk September 21, 2008

Franklin Templeton Investments will hold its 7th annual Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, September 21st with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Franklin Templeton Campus, One Franklin Parkway in San Mateo.

This year's event will benefit PigMillion Possibilities, a Disability Awareness Service of Community Gatepath. PigMillion Possibilities is a free outreach program promoting disability awareness and responsible citizenship among Bay Area youth through a unique blend of traditional educational components and hands-on applications.

The race features live entertainment, children's races and activities, great prizes, and refreshments. The registration fee is $25 if postmarked by Friday, August 22nd, $30 subsequently and on race day and includes a T-shirt and goody bag. Kids races for ages 12 and under are free. Awards will be given to the top finishers in six age categories and kids races.
