FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE is about two middle-aged people: Frankie, a waitress at a diner who is a victim of a past abusive relationship; and Johnny, the diner’s short order cook who comes from a failed marriage and time in prison.
On an evening that could be a one-night stand, Frankie and Johnny are confronted by the ten-million things that come between two people falling in love. Terrence McNally’s story is beautiful, painful and, at moments, hilarious.
In the end the two must ask: Can a life filled with bad choices stand in the way of love, and a life together?

FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE runs January 19th through March 1st, 2008 (no performance February 24). Previews are January 17th and 18th, with opening night January 19th. Performances are at The Hudson Mainstage at 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood, 90038, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 7 PM. Tickets are $20. Running time is 100 minutes with intermission and concessions available. Wheelchair access. Allow time for street parking.
