Continuing the long legacy of lesbian schoolgirl films like Mä dchen in Uniform and The Children’s Hour comes a new film worthy of induction into the ranks of those classics. Loving Annabelle is a sultry, sexy and supremely smart film about a boarding school student who finally meets her match...or does she?
The wild daughter of a senator, Annabelle (Erin Kelly) comes to a very strict Catholic boarding school as the last stop in a run of exclusive private schools that have expelled her. Intelligent, beautiful and bored, Annabelle immediately impresses both her schoolmates and her new teacher, Simone (Diane Gaidry), when she correctly interprets the heavily sexual meaning of an e.e. cummings poem in English class. Brazen enough to openly proposition Simone after class, Annabelle doesn’t quite know what she’s in for as she begins her very Lolita-esque temptation. Matters are further complicated by the fact that Simone is the dormitory monitor and thus lives on the same floor as the aggressive and sexy Annabelle. When student and teacher are the only two left on campus during spring break, the temptation is nearly overwhelming.
What do they do? To find out, you’ll have to see the movie! With its completely captivating leads, Loving Annabelle keeps us in suspense until an ending you might not see coming.
