Waste Not, Want Not: Recycling, Reimagining & Repurposing
Friday, October 28, 2005
Scottish Masonic Center, 1155 Broadway East, Seattle
6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Our work at the FPA is all about taking care of the resources we have, not throwing away materials, money or people, leading to this year's auction theme: Waste Not, Want Not: ReCycling, ReImagining and RePurposing Arts and Amenities. With this spirit, FPA's 27 programs help 25,000 families each year.

Our annual auction is not quite like any other auction you've been to?it's spirited, eclectic, comfortable, meaningful and most of all artful. Generous bidders transform donations of Art, Craft, Furnishings, Experiences, Meals and other Sustenances for the Soul into cash?to be further transformed into food, shelter, counseling, care for the elderly, tutoring, anti-racism work, legislative actions and tender care for those members of our communities who too often feel abandoned and alone.

Plentiful appetizers, beer and wine are included in the entry fee donation of $30 per person or $250 per table of ten. Entry tickets may be "purchased" at the door on the night of the auction
