Join Kesler Randall, the Museum's Collections Manager of Fossil Vertebrates, on a tour of Fossil Mysteries. Discover local fossil findings and discuss the paleobiology and evolutionary history of the fossils on display. Fossil Mysteries is the Museum's permanent exhibition which displays a wide array of vertebrate, invertebrate, and plant fossils from our region. These fossils were collected from sedimentary rocks deposited during portions of the past 75 million years of Earth history. This time period ranges from the age of dinosaurs to the Ice Ages. In addition to fossil specimens, the gallery exhibits a number of casts, life-sized reconstructions, and colorful murals of these extinct animals.
