Design For People, Build For Change

Each year, Forrester’s Technology Leadership Forum examines a critical issue at the intersection of business and technology. This year’s theme, “Design For People, Build For Change,” encapsulates two important challenges just beginning to hit technology leaders.

Design For People is based on the convergence of information workplace technologies, like collaboration and content management, with the Millennial-laden workforce and the Web 2.0 technologies they’re now accustomed to.

Build For Change looks at technology’s role in making firms more flexible — not in consultant speak, but in real terms. We’ll examine business rules and business process management (BPM) software, which can make processes more tailored and dynamic, new practices and job roles for speeding software development, and the next generation of IT virtualization.

Technology Leadership Forum 2007 will help attendees capitalize on these trends and more quickly automate and continuously adjust to their real world — to design for people and build for change. This event will be relevant to all technology professionals, but its content will focus most closely on these roles:

• Chief Information Officer
• Application Development & Program Management professional
• Information & Knowledge Management professional
• Enterprise Architecture professional
• Business Process & Applications professional

Through a combination of industry and analyst presentations, in-depth case studies, one-on-ones, and peer networking, attendees will have the opportunity to build new relationships with industry leaders and potential business partners.
