Forbidden Broadway - Greatest Hits, Volume 1 October 5, 2012

In this long-running Off-Broadway hit musical revue, Broadway's greatest musical legends meet Broadway's greatest satirist in this hilarious, loving and endlessly entertaining tribute to some of theatre's greatest stars and songwriters.
Forbidden Broadway is a musical that takes songs from many famous Broadway shows and puts new comical words to the tunes, resulting in hilarious parodies. In 1982 Gerard Alessandrini created and wrote the first edition of Forbidden Broadway which has spawned 15 editions, several cast albums and a 25-years-and-counting run in New York.
Marie Clark Musical Theatre will be presenting the most recent edition of the show, "Forbidden Broadway - Greatest Hits, Volume 1", directed and musically directed by Ben Saunders and choreographed by Rachel Dow.
Director Ben Saunders states, "If you love Broadway, you will love this show. If you hate Broadway, you will love this show."
Forbidden Broadway is presented through special arrangement with Origin Theatrical Pty Limited.
This production of Forbidden Broadway is to be performed at The Arts Theatre, corner of Angas and Moore Streets, Adelaide, and runs for a strictly limited season of eight shows: 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th October 2012 at 8pm, and 6th and 13th October 2012 at 2pm.
Ticket prices are $28 for Adult and $23 for Concession for all performances, except Wednesday 10th October, where all tickets are only $23! Group discounts are available by contacting the company.
