Food & Wine Pairing Series– Wine and Fish Cooking Demo and Wine Dinner September 19, 2008

Join Chef Gilles Syglowski, General Manager of the Woman’s National Democratic Club and Laurent Guinand of GiraMondo Wine for a special evening highlighting the pairing of fish and wine. After the cooking demonstration and wine presentation, guests will enjoy a special menu with wine pairing

Hors d’oeuvres: Crab Dijonnaise salad on Belgian Endive (with sparkling wine)

Appetizer: Roasted Tomato Veloute with Grilled Sea bass and fresh basil (paired with Zweigelt)

Entrée: Seared Dover sole Chive Beurre Rouge with white wine poached Yukon Potatoes and a custard of fresh baby spinach (paired with Pinot Noir)

Dessert: Puff pastry poached pear tarts with honey walnut crème anglaise (paired with semi sweet white wine)
