Folk Duo Headlines FREE "Third Thursday" Concerts in August August 19, 2010

The acoustic folk duo, Sky in the Road, will continue the Tigard Public Library's Third Thursday outdoor summer concert series on Thursday, August 19, at 6 p.m. at the Library's gazebo.
Their folk-based style encompasses Americana, Celtic, gypsy jazz, new age, rock and reggae.
The duo's unique sound is performed with a variety of instruments including 6-and 12-string guitar, Irish bouzouki, banjo and East Indian harmonium. Combining thought-provoking original lyrics and melodic tunes, Sky in the Road offers an evening of original music melding world sounds with an Oregon perspective.
Concert-goers should bring their own outdoor seating for this free concert. In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Library Community Room. Third Thursday Summer Concerts are sponsored by the Friends of Tigard Library.
