Delightful French and Italian cantatas tell enchanting tales from ancient myths about the desires and supernatural powers of gods and demi-gods. Baroque instrumental music for transverse flute, violin, viola da gamba, theorbo, and harpsichord transports listeners to Arcadian splendor in works by Vivaldi, Monteclair, Leclair, and Rameau.
