Focus the Nation: Global Warming Solutions for America, is a full day event at the University of Portland. The intent is to create a serious, sustained and truly national discussion about clean energy solutions, linking students and citizens directly with our political leaders.

Focus the Nation is driven by teams of faculty and students at over a thousand colleges, universities and K-12 schools collaboratively engaging in a nationwide, interdisciplinary discussion.

The main event at the University's Chiles Center begins at 5pm.
5:00 p.m. - Doors Open for Focus the Nation: LIVE at the Chiles Center!
5:20 p.m. - Entertainment and introduction. Comedy and Entertainment with Live Wire!
6:00 p.m. - OPB radio live. "Green Democracy" forum begins, with Sandra Tsing Loh, host. (Governor Kulongoski and Oregon House Chair of Energy and Environment Jackie Dingfelder will be panelists. Invitations to U.S. Congressional delegation pending)
7:00 p.m. - Live broadcast ends.
7:05 p.m. - Comedy and Entertainment with Live Wire!. Includes interview with politician(s)
7:40 - Music with Stars of Track and Field
