Focus: Robert Lazzarini March 17, 2011

Artist Robert Lazzarini reconfigures his subjects by scanning the objects into a computer and mathematically distorting them. He then creates the work based on those distortions. As a result, they mimic meticulously rendered drawings or paintings. Lazzarini's work challenges both our visual perception and our understanding of the physical world.
