FLASHPOINT Opening - Nightscenes: Images by Christopher Saah February 15, 2007

Please join us at an opening reception for Nightscenes: Images by Christopher Saah, on Thursday, February 15, 6-8pm. This event is free and open to the public.

Along the edges and shadows of a nocturnal Hollywood, photographer Christopher Saah transforms images of seedy environments into something rich and strange. Nightscenes features 25 photographs that blend cinematic conventions of film noir with contemporary digital aesthetics to explore the psychological impressions of these forlorn places. Curated by Andrea Pollan, Director of Curator’s Office in Washington, DC, Nightscenes is on view in the Gallery at Flashpoint February 15 – March 17, 2007.
