First Time: First Car January 26, 2011

'First Time' is a reading series that pairs music and the written word. Local artists write and present original works based on a selected theme, making reference to a specific band or song. Immediately afterwards, a live band will perform said song. Proceeds benefit the Chicago Independent Radio Project.
