FIRST 5 Santa Clara Presents: Children's Community Arts Festival August 17, 2008

FIRST 5 Santa Clara County invites families with young children to attend the first-ever, free Community Arts Festival. Children will enjoy a variety of theatre performances and art workshops, while parents receive information about local children’s arts programs and other resources to better prepare their children for school.

Families can also view a children’s art gallery and theatre demonstrations showcasing work from the Power of Preschool Arts Alive! Summer Institute. Arts Alive! – funded by FIRST 5 Santa Clara County – offers summer arts education and experiences to young children, while preparing them for a successful transition into kindergarten.
