Fine Arts Building Open Studios September 14, 2007

The Fine Arts Building, an historic artists haven since 1898, continues to draw local inspiration. Over fifty artists have recently flocked to one of the few remaining Chicago buildings designed specifically for working artists. On the Second Friday of every month the public is invited to tour ten stories of this National Landmark from 4:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and visit individual working studios and galleries. Four galleries and over fifteen artists studios will be featured as FAB Studios, a flexible collaborative collective that will cyclically highlight the wealth of visual and performing arts talent resident in the Fine Arts Building for the public on the Second Friday of every month.
