What is a Peace Pole?

A Peace Pole is a monument that displays the message and prayer "May Peace Prevail on Earth" on each of its sides, usually in different languages. The Peace Pole Project was started in Japan by the World Peace Prayer Society in 1955. Since then, more than 200,000 of them have been placed around the world, in 180 countries.

What is Finding Our Way Home?

Finding Our Way Home is an annual event hosted by the Aboriginal community in its ongoing commitment to eradicate poverty and its effect on the Aboriginal peoples in Canada. Finding Our Way Home has partnered with the Peace Pole project in an effort to bring peace and social justice to all individuals affected by poverty.
