FINDING ELIZABETH TAYLOR writer/performer Elizabeth Claire Taylor was named after the most beautiful woman in the world. It's a lot to live up to - the eyes, the diamonds, the booze, the pills, the men, the marriages, the diets, the hits, and the flops. But oh how she's tried. FINDING ELIZABETH TAYLOR is love letter to La Liz and her namesake - two women obsessed with life and its finer points.

FINDING ELIZABETH TAYLOR won the 2011 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Award for Outstanding Solo Show. Cheryl King, the Artistic and Managing Director of Stage Left Studio, which is dedicated to solo work, will direct the piece.

Elizabeth Claire Taylor graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she trained at The Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting. She is currently one of the most in demand plus size models. She has been featured in Oprah Magazine, Women's Day, Good Morning America and was the recent subject of a profile by the New York Times about her life in relation to her famous namesake.
