Film Festival on Afghanistan February 7, 2009

The film festival aims to portray Afghanistan and Afghan society in a more objective manner, free from media perceptions and common biases.
The two-day festival includes film screenings, a group discussion, musical performance and an art & photography exhibition. The event, on the whole, intends to depict life beyond the war and showcase the socio-political and cultural developments and issues of life in Afghanistan, from the perspective of a younger generation in Afghanistan.
