Fiesta De Independencia September 18, 2010

The festival coincides with this year's bicentennial anniversary of Mexico's independence from Spanish rule and the 100 year anniversary of the country's revolution that began in 1910 and toppled Dictator Porfirio Diaz. The celebration features authentic food, live music, games and activities for the whole family. In addition, Latino Leader Awards will be given to an individual and a business selected for their work to bring the Latino community together and to make the region a better place to live, work and play.
