Join us on a rum-fuelled safari through the dancehalls of the Tropics and beyond, mashing up the latest party sounds from across the globe with afro-beat, cumbia, samba, mambo, calypso, kwaito, baile funk, balkan, bhangra and traditional regional music over b-boy beats and bastard bass.
This month, admist the usual ragtag mix, there’ll be block rocking tropical beats from Huskiii and afro/brazilian fonk from Prof Calculus. Joining the jam session over the DJs will be Paolo on drums, Sam on latin/afro percussion and Captain Trumpet on… go on, guess which instrument!
