Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two "mature" cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. When circumstances put them together on a TV show called The Kitchen Witches, the insults are flung harder than the food. Dolly's long-suffering TV-producer son Stephen tries to keep them on track, but as long as Dolly's dressing room is one inch closer to the set than Isobel's, it's a losing battle, and the show becomes a rating smash as Dolly and Isobel top both Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer!

Caroline Smith is a Playwright, choreographer, teacher, and director, founded the Stirling Festival Theatre, where she currently holds the title of Artistic and Managing Director. Under Caroline’s leadership, the “SFT” has won three Lieutenant Governor's Awards and three Business Achievement Awards. As a playwright, Caroline won the 2005 Samuel French Canadian Playwriting Competition for her comedy The Kitchen Witches, which is enjoying professional and amateur productions throughout Canada and the U.S.

Charles Ault, Sr. started The Player Guild in 1936 as a means to put food on the table in the middle of the depression. A love for the theatre and a creative mind brought a group of talented community actors and actresses together to provide the public with live entertainment. This concept was passed on to his son Charley Ault, Jr. who now runs The Players Guild, beginning its 75th year of production.
