FestiGals New Orleans Weekend Getaway October 6, 2011

Soledad O’Brien of CNN is the featured presenter at the upcoming inaugural FestiGals Weekend event in New Orleans.  FestiGals is part of the S.H.E. Series Events and will be held in New Orleans from October 6-9, 2011.  The weekend features a combination of speakers and special events for women as well as fun outings such as special dinners, yoga sessions, tours of New Orleans and more.  A portion of the net proceeds will benefit Dress for Success and Women for Women International.

Diane Lyons conceived and launched FestiGals, and is also the President of ACCENT on Arrangements. According to Diane “We wanted to create a complete weekend for women. We wanted to show them just how great visiting New Orleans in the fall can be. We wanted a weekend that not only showcased New Orleans but also gave women a chance to participate in planned events and hear some outstanding speakers. We are particularly pleased that Soledad O’Brien will headline Festigals S.H.E. Conference.” S.H.E. is for Festigals Self, Heart, and Empowerment series. It is a half day of fun, food, and seminars.
