Pacific Ballroom Dance (PBD) is the only youth formation ballroom dance company in the Pacific Northwest. With PBD, youth between the ages of 12 and 21 have the opportunity to learn and perform ballroom dance-from the more formal standard dances such as Waltz and Foxtrot, to fiery Latin dances such as Samba and Cha Cha.

As stated in our mission, we aim, above all, to provide a positive environment where youth can build character while learning how to dance. Partner dancing is the tool that we use to help young people learn principles such as teamwork, commitment, excellence, and leadership.

Not only are we committed to our dancers, but we are also committed to our art. We strive to produce artistic excellence through technical ballroom dancing. This year we have adjusted our program so that the dancers will have additional training in technique and fundamentals. Additionally, we continually aspire to produce creative and original choreography that will both challenge and bring fulfillment to our dancers, and entertain and uplift our audiences.

Without the extensive support of our volunteer association, our program would not be possible. As a non-profit organization, PBD relies heavily on gifts of time and money from the community. We have an outstanding parent committee that provides most of our volunteer support. In addition, many local businesses regularly lend their assistance and are great friends to the dance team. PBD is hoping to acquire their own facility within the next few years. This year end performance contributes to that fund.
Through Community Service Opportunities, we help our students use their dancing abilities to serve and interact with people in the community. We provide workshops for organization such as retirement centers, youth groups, and school assemblies where dancers teach and dance with those they are serving. The dancers usually provide a performance as part of the workshop.

Matinee $10, Evening $15.
