Fashion at the Exploratorium - Design and Construction With Clothing Designer Barbara Beccio (July 17 and 31, Noon-4pm) June 17, 2010

Clothing designer Barbara Beccio has an MFA in Costume and Lighting Design for Theatre, which has led her to explore not only period clothing shapes but also unusual shapes that stretch the normal considerations of construction. Today she will demonstrate her clothing design and construction process to artfully envelope the 3 dimensional shapes of the human form.
