Fantastic Fourth Celebration July 3, 2010

Don't miss Stone Mountain Park's 42nd Annual Fantastic Fourth Celebration. Come and experience the all new Journey to the Center of the Earth 4-D Movie. Climb high up in the trees on Sky Hike, the nation’s largest adventure ropes course, fun for the whole family. Enjoy live entertainment, fireworks and much more. Stone Mountain Park’s Adventure Pass guarantees a full day for your family with access to all of Stone Mountain Park’s attractions including the Great Locomotive Chase Adventure Golf, the scenic train ride, the Summit Skyride, the Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard and museums.

The Lasershow Spectacular can be seen nightly July 3-5.

Please be advised that Stone Mountain Park typically experiences large crowds on the Fourth of July so be sure to come out early to enjoy the park. Park attractions will open at 10 a.m. on July 3rd, 4th and 5th and each evening immediately following the Park's lasershow, there will be a spectacular fireworks display. Be aware that on July 4th the Park may close the gates early once parking capacity is reached. Please also note, that for safety reasons, no pedestrian traffic will be allowed to enter the Park through the main entrance on Highway 78.

Vehicle entry to the park is $10.00 for a one day permit or $35 for an annual permit. Note that there will be no free Park re-entry allowed. Guests who leave the Park on July 4th and then wish to return will have to re-pay the $10.00 Park entry fee.
