Family Skateboard Science Weekend April 9, 2011

Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 2011
On April 9 & 10, from 12 to 4 p.m., visitors can see live demonstrations by professional skateboarders as they present science in motion at the Exploratorium's impromptu skate park, then join the pros for open skate, beginner skate, and more. Get a T-shirt screen-printed by San Franpsycho, learn how to ollie in a special exhibit, or enjoy a collection of Exploratorium exhibits that reveal the physics of skateboarding. Both days culminate in live demos by professional skate teams (FTC on Saturday and Mission Skates on Sunday).
