Falu is a classically trained Indian vocalist combining Indian music with inventive pop/rock. A disciple of Ustad Sultan Khan now working with some of NYC's most accomplished musicians, Falu has developed a signature style that is catching the ears of music fans everywhere.

Falu has worked with an array of artists including Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Project and the Born Into Brothels Ensemble. Not only can she tear up the rock clubs in downtown Manhattan, but she also currently serves as one of Carnegie Hall's Music Ambassadors to NYC - a venue where in 2006 she became the youngest South Asian vocalist ever to deliver a solo performance. Last year Falu teamed up with Wyclef Jean to lend her voice to the score of Angelina Jolie’s new film A Place in Time, while more recently she performed for National Geographic, and performed the first Hindi song ever on national FOX TV.

Her brand of music, described by the Wall Street Journal as "Indie Hindi", is truly global and easily crosses boundaries of culture, language, religion and age.
