Ally Reeves is the American Jewish Museum’s Artist-in-Residence developing an animation project Falling In, exploring how people have fallen in love.

From September 15 – 28, visitors can join Reeves in the museum to share with her their stories about falling in love. After she has compiled narratives, Reeves will develop them into a Flash animation. Museum audiences can observe her techniques and processes and assist her with devising character development and story lines.

Viewers will be able to see the animation progressing weekly through November 3rd, at which time the preparatory drawings, storyboards and completed animation will be displayed in the AJM as Falling In.

Falling In is a synthesis of low-tech social engagement, new media techniques, performance and installation.
