No radio, cell phones, TV, Playstation, not even telephones – how did colonial people get by? Experience a day-in-the-life of an 18th century colony at the free “FallFest: 18th Century Festival”. Enjoy a variety of hands-on early settlers arts and crafts, including: candle dipping, quilting, stenciling, quill pen writing, reed ornaments, carding wool, dying wool with natural dyes, and more. Event-goers can also sample a variety of 18th century traditional foods, such as fresh-pressed apple cider, butter, cornbread, honey, and more
Sit back and enjoy the tricks of a colonial magician, the music of folksingers or dance along to the Mud in Yer Eye Band.
Mud in Yer Eye performs at:
11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Learn about life in the military through demonstrations performed by the Brigade of the American Revolution.
The Brigade of the American Revolution schedule:
1 p.m. 18th Century Soldier Parade
3 p.m. The Role of 18th Century Women and their clothing
4 p.m. Mock Battle
1 – 5 p.m. Cooking demonstrations
All day – tour the camp

Pony rides are available for $4 a ride or $6 for a ride and photo.

A shuttle bus will be available from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. at other marked picnic areas

FallFest is located at Meadows Picnic Area, located off Meadows Drive in Brecksville Reservation, off Chippewa Creek Drive in Brecksville.
