SOUTH HAMILTON, Mass. — Join 144 golfers for a full day of golf and dining at one of Massachusetts’ most elite private golf courses as part of the Fairway for Kids tournament to raise money for the programs and services of the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps.

Registration begins at 10 a.m.; lunch is at 11 a.m.; shotgun start at noon; cocktail reception at 5 p.m. dinner at 6 p.m.; and the live auction is at 7 p.m. WCVB-TV CH. 5 anchor Susan Wornick will host the live auction. Boston sports memorabilia are among the items up for bid. The tournament will also include a 50/50 raffle, and prizes for longest drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one car giveaway sponsored by Lexus of Northborough. The tournament, to be held Monday, May 10, offers golfers the rare opportunity to play at Myopia Hunt Club, a private golf club located at 435 Bay Road, South Hamilton, Mass. Space is limited so register early. Registration is $2,000 per foursome and includes golf fees, lunch and dinner. Various sponsorships are available.

Since its inception in 2004, Fairway for Kids has raised more than $700,000. This year’s goal is to raise $100,000 for the programs of the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps. The agency is a leader in child welfare, juvenile justice, and advocacy in Massachusetts. The agency’s statewide services include educational, residential treatment, and community outreach programs, which support, educate and rehabilitate children, helping them to grow into healthy and productive adult members of their communities.
