365 5th Ave.
New York City, New York

a National Conference sponsored by the Applied Research Center and the Center for Humanities, CUNY Graduate Center.

From the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast to the fight for just immigration policy, questions of racial justice dominate debates in academia, government and the media. Facing Race is our chance to cut across the color line and move these conversations forward.

Advancing racial justice is not only an idea we share; it is a mission to change the rules so that privileges and punishments are not determined by the color of our skin. Across three days in March you can join other policymakers, advocates, journalists, researchers, and organizers who share this commitment.

Facing Race will explore the innovative strategies and successful models that have the power to make racial justice a 21st century reality.
