Dr. Ryan McEwan, assistant professor of environmental ecology at the University of Dayton, will explain the three powerful drivers of forest change: fire, human disturbances and drought. He will draw from his studies, many of which use tree-ring analysis, in the forests of Ohio and Kentucky.
