In celebration of the Exploratorium’s 40th Anniversary, the Exploratorium has opened its archives to present Rewind, podcasts from our seminal Speaking of Music series. Speaking of Music was presented by the Exploratorium from 1977 to 1991. It was curated by Robin Kirck in its early years and then by Charles Amirkhanian from 1983-1991. In it, live conversation/performances with the leading contemporary composers, followed by audience-artist interactions, were heard live and also recorded. In this month’s release of a new episode, we present Annea Lockwood. Releases occur on the third Friday of each month for the entire 40th anniversary year finishing through November 2010.
