Exhibition - Pashmina, jewellery, metal from Nepal December 18, 2008

Dastkari Haat presents, Pashmina, jewellery, metal from Neighbourly Nepal.

A special workshop will be held for the Nepali visitors on theory and practice in subjects ranging from 1) Corporate identity and branding, 2) Traditional to contemporary, 3) Colour forecasting and fashion trends, 4) Exhibition and window presentation and packaging, 5) Product development and metal design development, 6) Pashmina design development , 7) Jewellery design development.
The faculty are renowned craft development personalities.

The workshop will be open to interested persons for the morning sessions from 11 am to 1.30 pm.

The Dastkari Haat Samiti will also demonstrate to the Nepali enterprises the benefits of infrastructure like Dilli Haat for other countries to emulate and crafts development and market expansion in the Indian context.

The Hon Minster for Textiles, Govt of India, His Excellency the Ambassador of Nepal and His Excellency the Ambassador of Mauritius have been invited to the inaugural function on 17th December 08 at 12 noon.
