Exhibition of Tanjore Paintings April 19, 2009

Sunny Sistems - The Gallery is organising an exhibition of Tanjore paintings. There are a whole range of subjects ranging from Ganeshas, Krishna, Lakshmi, Saraswati Shiv Parvati, Ram Patabhishekham, Kuber and many more. A unique subject on display for the first time is an Indonesian Sita. While some paintings are in standard relief, some are in high relief. Some other paintings have been given such a fantastic finish that they end up looking like antiques. The price ranges betweenRs 1,200 and Rs 1,50,000.
