Exclusive Screening of Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill August 21, 2009

Join Emmy and Sundance-award-winning filmmaker Judy Irving and “birdman” Mark Bittner for a special screening, reading and discussion of the documentary and subsequent book, The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. The film is about Bittner, a former street musician living off of the kindness of strangers, and his evolving philosophy and relationship with a flock of wild parrots. After the screening there will be a discussion about the film as well as a short reading by Bittner from his book titled, The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill: A Love Story . . . with Wings.
