The core of the group consists of alternating bassists Matt Gibbs and Owen Clapp, drummer Emiliano Flowerman and keyboard players Sturdy Adams and Simon Linsteadt. This rhythm section holds down complex arrangements and open ended jams while soloists and vocalists (such as Matt Gibbs, Frank Gibbs, Joey Upjohn, Jonah Nakagawa, Julia Chanin, Yang West, Ted Barger, and Benji Dossetter) take the lead. Each member of the expanded band has been tried and selected to add key, interesting and exciting elements to the music.
