Conceptualized as a photo album, the exhibition highlights the importance of figural photography as a vehicle for social, political and aesthetic commentary. Through its choice of images, this show questions the commonly accepted boundaries between documentary reportage and works of art and explores the different relationships built between photographers, their subjects and their audiences.
