European Films Screening and Language Mela. The European Day of Languages (EDL), a Council of Europe initiative, is held annually to celebrate cultural and linguistic diversity of the world in general and Europe in particular. EDL involves more people every year and aims to highlight the importance of Language learning, to increase awareness and appreciation of all Languages and to encourage lifelong Language learning. To celebrate this event, a series of events in English, German, Esperanto, Spanish, Russian and French will be organized. Among them, a screening of Films in various European Languages will be held in the auditorium of the EFL University .
