In a move that is a match made in musical heaven, after a courtship of record releases, park concerts and exclusive club dates, ETHEL and JOE get hitched! Glowing from the success of their latest release "LIGHT" on Cantaloupe Music, the internationally renowned indie rock/post-classical string band, ETHEL, returns home to Joe's Pub to launch a season-long residency "ETHEL LAB!" For 6 Sundays: 10/22, 11/19, 12/17, 2/25, 3/25, and 4/22, ETHEL will perform excerpts from "LIGHT" as well as explore new collaborative ground with fellow compositional "chemists."

Two-time NAMMY (Native American Music Awards) nominee, James Bilagody, joins the ETHEL LAB! to perform music ETHEL and Bilagody created during ETHEL's residency at the 2006 Grand Canyon Music Festival in September. Never in the history of music has anyone solemnly fused the heritage of Native America with the vigor of hard rock, until James Bilagody - this concert is not-to-be-missed!
