Esiotrot
Brilliant seven piece from London who play endearing loose-limbed indie rock that sounds like Gordon Gano fronting Pavement or (according to Plan B magazine), "Velvet Underground filtered through a secondhand tape-recorder and a collection of Postcard Records". Two of the band are related to two of Hexicon, a fact we were blissfully unaware of when we booked them. "It's always good to be above your big brother on the bill," they say. Very true.

Hexicon
A six piece from London and Maidstone, Hexicon play gorgeous mellow indiepop in the vein of Stars Of Aviation and Fanfarlo. Expect french horn, lapsteel, and a few pointed words directed towards their little brothers between songs. "Hexicon make the sound of mellow hillbillies tripping in the countryside," reckon Artrocker.

Allo Darlin'
Ukulele-sporting former singer with The Darlings who plays infectious indiepop that sounds like a stripped down Camera Obscura, appearing tonight with a full band (who may or may not also play in Hexicon - my, this bill is getting more close-knit by the second). Expect wry, loveable songs about lovers, rivals and Henry Rollins.

Beacons
When we approached this London duo to play, we did so because we loved the sound of their folk-tinged indiepop songs. "Actually we've played with Hexicon a couple of times," they wrote back. "And Esiotrot once." Yes, of course. We don't know if our guest DJs have a Hexicon connection as well, but don't bet against it.
