Equality in Athletics: Title IX March 23, 2009

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Women's Law Project presents Susan Frietsche, WLP Senior Staff Attorney, and Beth Choike, lead plaintiff, Choike v. Slippery Rock University, in a discussion of Title IX and gender equality. Over its 35-year history, the WLP has engaged in extensive advocacy and litigation to both expand the opportunities available to girls and women in intercollegiate and interscholastic athletics and eliminate discriminatory treatment.
