David Orr is known for his pioneering work as an environmental education and ecological designer. He has led the effort to create Oberlin College’s Environmental Studies Center, a building described by the U.S. Department of Energy as one of thirty “milestone buildings” of the twentieth century. His books include Design on the Edge, The Last Refuge, and The Nature of Design. The recipient of a Bioneers Award, a National Conservation Achievement Award by the National Wildlife Federation, and a Lydhurtst Prize, Orr is the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics at Oberlin College.

Bokara Legendre is an artist, writer, and performer. Her 13-episode Lunch with Bokara (with Ram Dass, Jack Kornfield, Jon Kabat Zinn, Jacob Needleman, and others) was aired on LinkTV and screened at RMA twice. Bokara produced and hosted talk shows on the CBS station in Washington, D.C. and on KQED, the local PBS station in San Francisco. She had her own radio column on WNYC and has worked as a reporter for The New York Times, the North American Newspaper Alliance, and the Charleston News and Courier. Her long time interest in shamanism, native traditions, and Eastern spiritual disciplines has led her to investigate the wisdom of many cultures and their related sciences. She is presently writing a humorous memoir about her spiritual search.
