This is the Trico Charitable Foundation’s annual conference and launch of the Social EnterPrize awards. Growing a community of sustainable, entrepreneurial non-profit organizations is the goal of the conference. A variety of interactive workshops, experimental problem solving, and open exchange among people working on or interested in social enterprise in the non-profit sector will take place during the day’s conference around the themes of planning, practicing and fine tuning social enterprise. This conference features key note speaker Tonya Surman, Executive Direcetor of the Centre for Social Innovation in Toronto and an address from Calgary’s own Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
