This event will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 located at the J. Cameron Center in Wailuku.

Course Description:

You will participate in an engaging interaction about the role a house plays in the building, managing, spending and transferring of wealth. You'll have a chance to interact with others as we explore the relationship to house and home and ultimately your cash flow and wealth. How does the house compare to other investments from a safety, liquidity, return, tax, leverage and diversification perspective.

We'll seek to answer these questions for you & your clients:

* How can I protect my house equity from Depreciation, Appreciation, Lawsuit & Foreclosure?
* When should I repay my borrowing, and when should I not?
* How should I repay my borrowing to maintain maximum flexibility?
* Which loan product, payment and amount are most suitable to me?
* How can I access the wealth in my house? When do I lose access?
* How can I maximize the role of my house in creating new wealth?
* What borrowing mistakes compound like interest over time?
* When does owning a house positively affect my net worth?
* How can I minimize taxes when I sell my house?
* How can I actively manage my house wealth in just 30 minutes a year?

This course offers 3 hours of REC Elective CE credit
CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS: Cancellations and/or transfers must be made seven calendar days prior to course date or FEE WILL BE FORFEITED.
IDENTIFICATION: A PICTURE ID AND A CURRENT REAL ESTATE POCKET CARD or notification of license status from REC will be REQUIRED at each pre-class check-in.
ATTENDANCE: DON’T BE LATE OR YOU’LL FORFEIT YOUR COURSE PAYMENT! The REC requires that we monitor your attendance. You must be present 100% of the course time (not including registration & break) to be eligible for CE Certification.
