Empty Bowls November 4, 2012

Foodbank of Santa Barbara County will host their 15th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Sunday, November 4 at the Rockwood Woman’s Club. Each person attending donates $30 or more and receives a hand-picked, ceramic bowl handcrafted by local ceramic artists. Attendees enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread and water, and take home the bowl as a reminder of the meal's purpose to feed the hungry in our community. Choose from one of three one-hour seatings at 11 am, 12 noon, or 1 pm. The event also features exquisite silent auction items and a raffle. VIP tickets are also available.

Empty Bowls is one of Santa Barbara’s most endearing, moving, and effective events which leaves attendees feeling a sense of gratitude and inspired to give back to those in need.
