Paul F. Tompkins, co-star of Comedy Central's new hit show Root of All Evil will headline at Comix May 30th & 31st. Paul, possibly the most nattily dressed stand-up comedian, has been featured on Best Week Ever, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and two of his own ½ hour specials called Comedy Central Presents…Paul F. Tompkins.

Paul began his stint as a writer and performer while on HBO’s Mr. Show with Bob and David where he was nominated for an Emmy award for writing. He then went on to write and star in his own one-man show, Driven to Drink, for HBO. He also gained a WGA nomination for his work as a writer & correspondent on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.

Paul has appeared on the Sarah Silverman Program, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. His other acting credits include Magnolia, Frasier, Anchorman, and most recently There Will be Blood.

In addition to acting, writing and creating film/television projects, he appears monthly in The Paul F. Tompkins Show to sold-out audiences at Largo in Hollywood - a live variety program that has Paul hosting the likes of Jack Black, Dave Foley, Andy Richter and Aimee Mann.
